Re-organize the archive: a proposition for wayfinding in the library based on patterns and visual associations.
A fashion student looking for pattern inspiration is most likely to visit the section with the fashion books, a spatial student will look in architecture books and an animation student in graphic novels.
This zine is made to help students branch out to other artistic areas: it is a new way of navigating through the media library of the Wilem de Kooning academy. I looked for patterns in books, and linked them to several other patterns with a similar aesthetic. In this way the booklet serves as a way finding and treasure map, to encourage students to expand their search for inspiration to other own disciplines, beyond their familiar area of interest.
